Dry eye is not one disease. Evaporative dry eye — driven by blocked meibomian glands — needs entirely different treatment from aqueous-deficient dry eye, and both are worsened by lid conditions like blepharitis and Demodex infestation that need their own management. Lubricant drops treat none of these causes, which is why so many people arrive at our practices with a drawer full of bottles and no lasting relief. Every assessment across the group follows the same structured workup: validated symptom scoring, non-invasive tear film analysis (break-up time, tear volume, blink quality), tear osmolarity testing, vital-dye examination of the eye's surface, and infrared meibography — photographing the oil glands inside your lids to see exactly how much functioning tissue remains. The findings, reviewed with you on screen, determine the plan.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy treats the inflammatory drivers of evaporative dry eye. Tixel thermomechanical treatment rejuvenates the lid tissue.
